Hi there, I am Phill. I am an Englishman abroad, married to my lovely Cypriot bride with two beautiful children.
I have not always been a professional photographer but I do believe I have always had photographs within me, much in the same way that, as they say, everyone has a book in them!.
Dalliancing with the medium while I lived in Italy, the thought had never entered my mind to take it further as a career. Something was missing, an ingredient, a spark. As passionate as I was living in captivating Tuscan landscapes and medieval urban environments, I guess I just wasn’t a meant to be a landscape photographer!
When my first child was born (Hi Emily!) it was unbridled emotion that brought me back to this most expressive of mediums. The spark! For me, recording my devotion for this beautiful little person became a passion. The spark; rekindling my love for form, proportion, composition and creativity. Elements of my former life as a spatial designer flowing into my photographs, creating memorable, unique imagery.
